Ballad?

[edit]

Does anyone know the ballad this film is apparently based on? I, myself, am curious and I think it would be quite helpful to the article. :bloodofox: (talk) 19:09, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Töres döttrar i Wänge" ("Töre's daughters in Vänge") or "Per Tyrssons döttrar i Vänge" ("Per Tyrsson's daughters in Vänge") is a medieval Swedish ballad on which Ingmar Bergman's The Virgin Spring is based.

Fair use rationale for Image:Jungfrukällan.jpg

[edit]

Image:Jungfrukällan.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Plot

[edit]

The plot should be expanded in more detail and there should be something about the film's legacy in this article (Last House on the Left).--Paleface Jack (talk) 02:15, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No it shouldn't. Plot is of reasonable size, and was when you left the comment; not good to have eight full paragraphs on a copyrighted work, especially when it's only 90 minutes long. More has been added on Last House, but to non-horror junkies aware of films made outside of the United States, Virgin Spring is notable for a lot more than that. Correction to "selling" of Karin's clothing

[edit]

"During the night, one of the goat herders offers to sell Karin's clothes to her mother, and she suspects the worst." She is -given- the ripped and bloody clothes of their supposed deceased sister as s gift for the couples kindness, which she recognizes as Karin's. 98.144.238.191 (talk) 01:59, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
