Zardab ([[Mohib Mirza]]) and Resham ([[Sanam Saeed]]) love each other. Zardab is saving money to pay Resham’s father, Shafiullah, to marry Resham. Shafiullah forcefully fixes her marriage with Dubai-returned Shehbaz Khan, who is ready to pay him big money to marry Resham. Palwasha, Resham’s friend, arranges a secret meeting between Zardab and Resham. Resham and Shehbaz get married. Resham’s husband goes to Dubai, leaving her with his parents. They treat Resham as a housemaid and make her do all the household chores. Resham becomes numb to her misfortunes and becomes emotionless. |
Palwasha’s husband, Aalam Zeb, wants Palwasha to take up a job. Resham’s family finds out that Shehbaz died in Dubai in an accident. Palwasha tells Alam Zeb she is happy with her job and gives him her salary. They dream of having a house of their own. Palwasha’s employer offers her a modelling contract. After Shebaz’s death, Resham’s father-in-law, Gulbaz Khan, sets his evil eyes on Resham. |
Resham’s mother-in-law, Gul Makai ([[Huma Nawab]]), wants Gulbaz to marry Resham as she performs all the household chores. Gulbaz and Resham get married. Zardab’s mother reprimands him for loving Resham. Zardab and Resham flee to the city and stay at Zardab’s friend, Gul Mohammed’s house. Zardab finds a job and starts working. Meanwhile, Palwasha starts depositing her hard-earned money in the bank instead of giving it to Alam Zeb. |
Gulbaz and his men capture Resham. They beat Zadrab and Dilawar and bring Resham back to the village. Gulbaz tells Gul Makai that she should get maximum work done from Resham before he gets her stoned to death by the community members. |
Resham runs away with Zardab. Gulbaz and his men gather together to search for her. Resham and Zardab reach Karachi and call Palwasha. |
Resham is pregnant with Gulbaz’s child. Doctors refuse to abort the child, and Zardab gets upset with Resham’s pregnancy. Zardab’s rude behaviour and anger at her pregnancy make Resham sad. She feels helpless about her situation. Alam Zeb finds Resham at Sara’s house. He calls Palwasha at Sara’s house and scolds her for helping Resham behind his back. They take Resham to their house. Alam Zeb tries to find out how Resham reached Karachi on her own. Alam Zeb blackmails Palwasha and demands money for keeping Resham’s presence in his house a secret. |
Zardab brings Resham and her newborn daughter to his house. Zardab does not want to be responsible for Resham’s daughter and ignores her. Zardab asks Resham to choose between him and her daughter. She refuses to leave her daughter, and Zardab asks her to leave him. Resham tries to commit suicide with her daughter, but a stranger saves her and brings them to his home. Jamal, the stranger who saves Resham, urges her to tell her story to the entire world through a video. Resham’s video gets released. Palwasha opens up about her life to the interviewer. She tells her that she doesn’t care about fame. Alam Zeb and Gulbaz argue, and Alam Zeb’s goon shoots Gulbaz, but Gulbaz’s gun also fires and kills Alam Zeb. |
