Production
[edit]The series was announced in March 2024 with the working title House of Guinness.[2] It will be produced for Netflix by Kudos.[3] The eight-part series is produced by Karen Wilson and has Tom Shankland directing the first five episodes and Mounia Akl directing the final three. Filming began in Cheshire in the summer of 2024.[4][5] Filming locations also include Stockport in Greater Manchester,[6] and Liverpool.[7] The cast includes James Norton, David Wilmot, Louis Partridge and Anthony Boyle.[8][9]
