The section was built by the Ryazan-Ural Railway itself. Until September 1900, Paveletsky Railway Station in Moscow was not yet completed, and the trains from the station of Zagorye (currently Biryulyovo-Tovarnaya and Biryulyovo-Passazhirskaya) followed to the Kursky railway station.[3][4]
The electrification of the suburban railway line started in 1953, when the section between Moscow and Domodedovo, and subsequently between Domodedovo and Barybino was completed.
