Skycop services can be used even if a passenger has submitted a claim directly to the [[airline]] but it has been rejected. The amount of compensation possible depends on the distance of the flight; the longer the distance, the bigger the potential compensation, which ranges from 250 to 600 euros. Only flights from the EU with EU-registered airlines may be compensated if the flight was disrupted due to the airline's fault, or was delayed and arrived at the final destination more than 3 hours late.<ref>{{Cite web |date=2022-08-10 |title=Flight Compensation |url=https://www.skycop.com/flight-compensation/ |access-date=2023-03-13 |website=skycop.com |language=en-US}}</ref> |
