Carl's interview remains one of the most popular on the largest, most comprehensive Christian web TV in Europe [http://www.premier.tv Premier.TV website]</ref> The article was followed up in the next issue with an article entitled "A man's world"<ref>'''A man's world?''' article in [http://www.christianitymagazine.co.uk/archive/2008/march.aspx Christianity magazine archive]</ref>. The interviews generated a large response from people both supporting and criticising his views (which called for a re-evaluation of church culture to make it more attractive to men). Some called his views divsive with others being very supportive and glad that someone was working to address the issues. Carl responded in the magazine with the comment that he welcomed the fact that the issue of declining numbers of men in church was finally being debated but hoped that the debate would translate into action.
