This is the second time that 134.115.228.188 has removed the section relating to the 2007 Guild President. Why? It seems perfectly fine to me. All accurate, all factual, all referenced with citations. The only thing I can think of is that whoever 134.115.228.188 is, they have something personal in this section. If this is so, they should be blocked for removing valid content for personal reasons if they try it again. If they are unhappy with this section, I would encourage them to add their views written and referenced in the usual wikipedia way. --203.59.112.253 14:49, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

:Referenced with what? Judging from the URLs, the answers is "blogs." I don't think those are counted as reliable sources. Is it encyclopedic? Is it unique to this Guild President? Will it be considered significant in 100 year's time, or even 5 year's time? I have replaced all references to Swinburne University back to Murdoch University, and removed the other incorrect references such chancellor and vice chancellor and 250 billion postgraduates.

I have deleted it... what has it got to do with Murdoch University? This isn't a bantering board for peoples opinions! tim 16:04, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

I also want to declare my conflict of interest in that I currently work at Murdoch University.
I'm going to remove it. I'm one of his biggest critics, in fact I think he's a right wing dick for the metior incident. But every president in every student org on the planet has enemys. But calling him out on the public record as if its anything unusual is frankly a little cruel. I can't think of a single guild pres in my 14 years of association with Murdoch U that didn't have political enemies. Why single him out? Keep the petty POV hackery off wikipedia Duck Monster 01:17, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

:And it's not restricted to Students... heck, I can't think of a single member of Murdoch management (either general or academic) who doesn't belong to some kind of political faction engaging in small, petty-minded crap. Is this really worth keeping in this article. doesn't deserve more than a 1 sentence mention, in my opinion. Michellecrisp (talk) 08:12, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
