Aaron Zebley PROD deletion in 2006
Invitation to participate in a research
Hi there Spangineer. I came across this page while editing and I was surprised to see that there used to be an Aaron Zebley article that was PRODed and you deleted way back in 2006. Could you check to see if the deleted content is about the same Aaron Zebley that was an FBI agent and chief of staff to Robert Mueller who then worked at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr with Mueller and is now working as part of Mueller's Special Counsel investigation (2017-present)? If so, I'd like to ask for the page and history to be undeleted so it can be expanded upon given Aaron's current notability. See this source and this source for more information. Please let me know if I should be following a different process. == Nomination of :Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon for deletion ==
<div class="floatleft" style="margin-bottom:0"></div>A discussion is taking place as to whether the article :Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

Hello,
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.
:File:Marvin.olasky.portrait.ncs.jpg
You uploaded, :File:Marvin.olasky.portrait.ncs.jpg, where you either stated or implied that you had permission of a third party to upload it; or that evidence of such permission would be provided on request.

The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .
Unless there's some record of that permission, it's harder to confirm if any given permission is genuine.
Wikipedia currently needs the permission to be explicitly proven at the time of upload, and recorded in the OTRS permission queue, for this reason.

Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.
Please read Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission, which advises on how to confirm permissions you obtained from a third party.

Kind Regards,
It is also advisable to ask the third-party what source attribution they desire, as opposed to marking the image as having been "sent personally".

WMF Research Team
If permission is not confirmed, and recorded as detailed above, the media may have to be removed so that Wikipedia stays in compliance with copyright law and policy in some jurisdictions.

::If I recall correctly, I received a personal email from Marvin Olasky in which he attached the photo and stated that it could be posted to Wikipedia. I don't have the email any longer, and I doubt that he used the proper language anyway to confirm that he understood the conditions of the release. So as you say, at this point he would need to be contacted again. Hello,
ArbCom 2018 election voter message
I recently invited you to take a survey about administration on Wikipedia. If you haven’t yet had a chance, there is still time to participate– we’d truly appreciate your feedback. The survey is anonymous and should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement.

Speedy deletion nomination of Beaver Field
Hello Spangineer,
<!-- Message sent by User:UOzurumba (WMF)@metawiki using the list at https://meta.wikimedia.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=UOzurumba_(WMF)/sandbox_Research_announcement_list_for_enwiki_Current_Admins_(reminders)&oldid=27744339 -->

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Beaver Field for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can <span class="plainlinks">contest this deletion</span>, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
