I have worked with Akbari, though we do not have any kind of direct supervisory relationship. She asked me if I knew why her name was deleted from the [[List of faculty members at the Institute for Advanced Study]], and on investigation I felt the 2006 PROD of her article was no longer appropriate in light of her subsequent career accomplishments. I think the article is neutral and well-sourced. I intend to watch it for vandalism but largely leave further improvements to the discretion of less-connected editors. :I'm happening on this a year late, but I saw this comment and went looking for verification, since the source for the sentence in the article is her faculty profile. Yes, she got her BA in 1984. You can find her in the 1984 Johns Hopkins yearbook. -- [[User:Asilvering|asilvering]] ([[User talk:Asilvering|talk]]) 02:47, 13 August 2023 (UTC) |

[edit]I have worked with Akbari, though we do not have any kind of direct supervisory relationship. She asked me if I knew why her name was deleted from the List of faculty members at the Institute for Advanced Study, and on investigation I felt the 2006 PROD of her article was no longer appropriate in light of her subsequent career accomplishments. I think the article is neutral and well-sourced. I intend to watch it for vandalism but largely leave further improvements to the discretion of less-connected editors. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 23:33, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
She got her B.A. at 18?
