I think he was the last person to try and revive the four-man rotation, as a manager of the Reds, in 2003. I can't find a source for this, other than http://danagonistes.blogspot.com/2004/08/four-man-rotation-redux.html, which contains a dead-link reference to ESPN. I think he was the last person to try and revive the four-man rotation, as a manager of the Reds, in 2003.
