== Vegetarianism ==

The article states she '''IS''' a vegetarian, however it says she was then had a long break, and when she got into yoga, became proud that she doesn't eat meat made by certain farming methods. That indicates to me that she ''was'' a vegetarian and no longer is, however some doubt still exists. To me, it sounds like she just makes sure the chickens have space to run around etc. Only source is a PETA interview. The oage refers her voice as asoprano, but I hear more of a mezzosoprano in Belinda's voice. She doesn't have daek sound at all, she has a light voice but her tessitura, her vibrato, her comfortable range and full timbe at some high notes screams a higher set mezzo to me. == Run-on sentence? ==

The sentence, "The anthology included "Dancing in the City", which had previously only been available on the Japanese LP/CD for the soundtrack to the 1987 movie I Won't Say I'm in Love which had previously only been released in 1997 as a CD single in France," needs badly to be broken up. When I come back to work on it, I'll look for other, similarly troubled sentences. [[User:Dgndenver|Dgndenver]] ([[User talk:Dgndenver|talk]]) 05:04, 21 November 2023 (UTC)

Wikification

[edit]

I think the wikification tag refers to the lack of any kind of sectioning. Thus, I think it should remain. --Eyrian 15:05, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It might be better for information about her personal life to be separated from her music. "great visual flair..." and "... looked fabulous" is hardly NPOV either. JMcC 10:45, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Belinda Hit Me Baby.jpg

[edit]

Image:Belinda Hit Me Baby.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 07:46, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Page 'wikified'

[edit]

I have edited this page and deleted irrelevant information, as it looked suspiciously like a fan tribute. I have also removed speculation about why certain Carlisle albums were less successful than others; there is no proof to substantiate any of it. Smurfmeister (talk) 14:41, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The image File:RunawayHorses.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --15:21, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
