-I understand she was born and raised Canadian, but if she's a naturalized American citizen now then the opening paragraph should say she's an American, not a Canadian, actress.  Her film and television credits as far as i can tell are all American.  I think a re-write saying American actress of Canadian birth, or born and raised in Canada.
