Gilestone Farm is a farm in Talybont-on-Usk that was purchased in 2022 by Welsh Government to support the Creative Sector in Wales. It is home to the Green Man Festival, and since August 2023 has been home to a pair of Ospreys, a schedule 1 protected species in Wales.[1]
Background
[edit]The farm is named for a standing stone, the Gilestone, that sits within it.[2] Welsh Government undertook to purchase Gilestone Farm to support the creative sector and with the intention of showcasing regenerative agricultural practice.[3]
