Danielson should be fired for what he did Saturday evening. Period.

Response: If Danielson should be fired for what he did, then more than half the sports staff of ABC/ESPN would have to be fired as well. How was what he did different from what Kirk Herbstreit does every week for the Big Ten?

The statement on this page that "most" non-Gator fans found his actions controversial is inaccurate. Has there been a survery indicating that? It would be accurate to state that Michigan fans found it controversial along with a few other Big Ten fans.

Definitely not a good broadcaster either. He continues to talk over the officials and his broadcast partner. He often talks negatively about the team he is working for and then flips like a politician, when Alabama starts winning. One of the all-time greats?

[edit]

That is quite a stretch, if you ask me. At best, Danielson was a mediocre NFL quarterback. Lee Dog 05:41, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Browns??

[edit]

I know we are not the prettiest team in the NFL, but Danielson did play for the Browns and mentored Bernie Kosar, which was a great help to him and the team, before leaving the NFL.
