Ntuthuko Mbongiseni Sibiya, known as Jomo Sibiya, is a South African politician who served as the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Human Settlements and Public Works in KwaZulu-Natal from March 2021 until August 2022. In July 2022, the ANC's Inkosi Bhambatha region nominated Sibiya to contest the position of provincial treasurer at the ANC's provincial elective conference.[3] At the provincial conference on 23 July 2022, Sibiya was nominated from the floor and accepted the nomination for provincial treasurer. He competed against former Newcastle mayor Dr Ntuthuko Mahlaba, who was also nominated from the floor.[4] Sibiya lost to Mahlaba.[5]
