First, regarding sources. Yes, we do require sources for anything added especially to BLP articles. While you might think that you could do this in consecutive edits, we have a lot of people monitoring recent edits and it is unfair to them to have them wonder if you are going to follow up shortly or later or never with a source. Whenever I make an edit to an article that requires a source, I add the source in the same edit. It isn't hard. If you don't know how to do this, please ask and we can give you some advice. |

I see that your first addition of this material was reverted due to missing sources. However, the material you add should be in your own words and it wasn't in your own words. You copied it from a site which is almost certainly subject to full copyright. Even if it is licensed acceptably, it should still generally be written in your own words with some rare exceptions, but if one of those exceptions apply it must be clearly identified at the same time as the edit. |
|||
⚫ | |||
Sorry if this sounds unreasonable, but we get hundreds of potential copyright violations every week and we need to be diligent about removing them. We get many hundreds of edits adding material without sources and those need to be addressed promptly.--[[User:Sphilbrick|S Philbrick]][[User talk:Sphilbrick|(Talk)]] 20:08, 9 July 2018 (UTC) |
