Ambiguous Link
[edit]Hi, the page Irish is a disambiguation page - as the word could mean the people, the language, the country and other things. It's generally better to use a link directly to the topic that you mean. So in the case of your edits to Ger O’Brien and Robbie Clarke (and probably others?) you could use [[Irish people|Irish]] or [[Ireland|Irish]]. Keep up the good work! Proposed deletion of Eoghan Carew
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Eoghan Carew, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Player fails WP:ATHLETE as he has never played in a fully-pro league.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Articles for deletion nomination of Eoghan Carew
[edit]I have nominated Eoghan Carew, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eoghan Carew. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. GiantSnowman 12:32, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 12:00, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
