Hi, weather update for Wiknic: the forecast is now for 91 degrees and a high UV index. Peaceray is bringing icewater, but everyone do please take appropriate precautions for the weather, such as sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and staying hydrated. There will be some shade in the trees. It's ok for those of us who are more temperature and/or sunlight sensitive to come but leave early, or skip the event if you think that you should; people who are very young, elderly, or have other health issues are more vulnerable to heat stroke. Health and safety first. Cheers, --<font style="white-space:nowrap;text-shadow:#008C3A 0.1em 0.1em 1.5em,#01796F -0.1em -0.1em 1.5em;color:#000000">[[User:Pine|<font color="#01796F"><b>Pine</b></font>]][[User talk:Pine|<font color="#01796F">✉</font>]]</font> 15:05, 2 July 2015 (UTC)

I note the change to using a multiple image versus the "deprecated" double image at [[Jefferson Davis]]. Is there a technical reason why the double image is deprecated? If so, I'll stop using it. :No. You can keep using it. Here's the deal. {{edit|Template:double image|Double image just calls multiple image}}. Double image has been deleted a while back, and all that's left in its place is its emulator: {{tl|multiple image}}. Take a look at {{tl|multiple image}} documentation and decide for yourself how you proceed. Don't resort to using [[WP:HTML5|other obsolete workarounds]] because of the old double image, but otherwise it should be technically fine to keep using. I changed one use of Double image out because it was using the obsolete {{tag|center}} tags, probably because it had to when it was written. &mdash; [[User:Cpiral|<font color="#00C000">Cp</font><font color="#80C000">i</font><font color="#C08000">r</font><font color="#C00000">al</font>]][[User talk:Cpiral|<font color="#2820F0">Cpiral</font>]] 08:44, 1 September 2015 (UTC)

::I very much enjoy finding double images, rarely triple images, to convey nuance in historical articles and article sections. I have had some success among articles of interest, although they are cut to one image on some pages on the grounds they slow article loading. This has been my experience at United States, History of the United States, United States Constitution, History of the United States Constitution. The multiple image seems to be a more consistent answer for most uses...I always prefer centering the descriptions. :You can, but unlike making an edit, the creation cannot easily be undone. Once you create the pages named "User:Farnell45" "User:Farnell45'''/sandbox'''" and then "User:Farnell45/sandbox'''/A'''", you'd have to ask an administrator to remove "/A" if you wanted to clean it out.

::As you wish, my preference would be to have as little double redirects as possible (preferably none) since it taxes on bot time. It is a very small tax (1-2 seconds per entry) but they pile up with added entries, particularly on multiple wikis. : To answer your Q, the search term you need is a namespace. '''Category''' is a [[wp:namespace]]. You manually enter the namespace you want to search (must be the first term), and append a colon : character to it. OTOH, incategory is a category-namespace-only, category, whole-title, search, (unlike intitle, which is a word search that only looks at titles' words.) You can automate this by setting your default "search domain" (i.e. namespace or namespaces) to "category".

Sounds like AWB can only perform ''its own'' searches from a required database dump. Is that right? If so can its search engine compete with the new CirrusSearch regular expressions of the wikitext?

Finally, does AWB have any in-class competitors (AWB script? WikEd?) that can do these robo-edits from a list like AWB can somehow do, but perhaps without the database dump or IE? I tried using this in AWB as "Wikisearch (text)" after unchecking the menu item under "List" that says "Remove non-main space" and adjusting the article filter to allow "User:" namespace. No pages are found by AWB. I'm not totally surprised, as AWB's interface to CirrusSearch is a little weird. '''Recent changes'''
* You can now use the <code>[[:mw:Help:CirrusSearch#Articletopic|articletopic]]</code> search word on all Wikipedias. It searches articles by topic. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T240559]
* You can see wiki tools in the new [https://tools.wmflabs.org/tools-gallery/ Tools Gallery]. [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Technical_Community_Newsletter/2020/April]
* You can see edits from the [[:wikitech:Help:Cloud Services Introduction|Wikimedia Cloud Services]] in a new [https://wmcs-edits.wmflabs.org/#wmcs-edits dashboard].
* When you use filters on a history page you sometimes don't see any edits. There is a text explaining this now. Before it was just empty. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T227578]
* There is a new [https://techblog.wikimedia.org/ Wikimedia Technical Blog]. [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikimedia_technical_blog_editorial_guidelines]

'''Problems'''
* There was a problem with the Wikidata database last week. Some wikis went down for twenty minutes. Wikidata and other projects showed error messages. Interwiki links were not shown, some tools did not work and other problems. Some of this was fixed quickly. The developers are working on fixing the rest. [https://www.wikidata.org/enwiki/w/index.php?title=Wikidata:Project_chat&oldid=1153486952#Update_about_the_database_breakage][https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Incident_documentation/20200407-Wikidata%27s_wb_items_per_site_table_dropped][https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T249565]

'''Changes later this week'''
* [[File:Octicons-sync.svg|12px|link=|Recurrent item]] The [[mw:MediaWiki 1.35/wmf.28|new version]] of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from April 14. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from April 15. It will be on all wikis from April 16 ([[mw:MediaWiki 1.35/Roadmap|calendar]]).

'''Future changes'''
* Some graphs have not worked on mobile. This will soon be fixed. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T133085]
* The article tab on talk pages of redirects links to the target of the redirect. It could link to the redirect page itself instead. You can [[phab:T5324|leave feedback on this]].
* For pages using [[mw:Special:MyLanguage/Extension:SyntaxHighlight|syntax highlighting]], the use of the deprecated <code><nowiki><source></nowiki></code> tag, as well as the use of the deprecated <code>enclose</code> parameter, will add tracking categories.

* If you forget your password you can ask for a new one to be sent to your email address. You need to know your email address or your username. '''Problems'''
* There was a problem with the Commons database on 27 May. Commons could not be edited for eight minutes. Because of this problem the database was moved. * Some articles have tables that can be sorted in different ways. For example a list of countries can be sorted alphabetically but you can click on the size column to sort them by size. If you clicked on the column a second time it would sort the countries from the bottom to the top instead. A third click will now take you back to the original sorting. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T226697]
* [[mw:Special:MyLanguage/Help:Lint_errors/self-closed-tag|Self-closed tags]] now work as in the [[:w:en:HTML5|HTML5]] specifications. This means you should stop using some of them. <code><nowiki><b/></nowiki></code> is an example of a self-closed tag that won't work. <code>area, base, br, col, embed, hr, img, input, keygen, link, meta, param, source, track, wbr</code> can be self-closed. Pages with tags that should not be self-closed have been listed in [[:wikidata:Q25885956|a tracking category]] since 2016. They will be listed in [[Special:LintErrors/self-closed-tag]]. This doesn't affect <code><nowiki><references /></nowiki></code> or <code><nowiki><ref /></nowiki></code>. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T134423]
* There is a banner called <code>WikidataPageBanner</code>. It is for example used by the Wikivoyages, Wikimedia Russia and the Catalan, Basque, Galician and Turkish Wikipedias. It will now been seen by mobile visitors too. Before this it was only seen on desktop. The wikis should update instructions on <code>MediaWiki:Sitenotice</code> so that editors know to test and style for mobile too. * Users can [[mw:Extension:Thanks|thank]] others for their edits. [[mw:Extension:CheckUser|Checkusers]] can now see user data related to that action. This can help identify [[m:Special:MyLanguage/Sock puppetry|sock puppets]] who harass others using thanks. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T252226]

'''Problems'''
* Everyone was logged out a couple of weeks ago to fix a security problem. The problem was not entirely fixed. Because of this everyone was logged out once again last week. '''Changes later this week'''
* Wikis that are not for one specific language can [[mw:Special:MyLanguage/Help:Extension:Translate|translate]] pages. Sometimes parts of translations are outdated or missing. Outdated translations are marked with a <span style="background-color:#fdd">pink background</span>. Missing translations will also be marked in the future. This markup can sometimes break things. It can soon be disabled by using <code><translate nowrap></translate></code> on the source page. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T256625]
* [[File:Octicons-sync.svg|12px|link=|Recurrent item]] The [[mw:MediaWiki 1.35/wmf.41|new version]] of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 14 July. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 15 July. It will be on all wikis from 16 July ([[mw:MediaWiki 1.35/Roadmap|calendar]]).

'''Recent changes'''
* A temporary fix helped wikis make their main pages more mobile friendly. This was in 2012. It has not been recommended since 2017. The mobile main page special casing stopped working 14 July. 60 wikis now have main pages that don't work well on mobile. You can see which ones, how to fix it and how to get help [[phab:T254287|in Phabricator]]. This is the same problem that was reported in Tech News [[m:Special:MyLanguage/Tech/News/2020/24|2020/24]] and [[m:Special:MyLanguage/Tech/News/2020/26|2020/26]].

'''Problems'''
* There is a problem with the interlanguage links. The interlanguage links are the links that help you find a specific page in a different language. The sorting is broken. The developers are working on a solution. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T257625]
* Some users keep getting the notifications for the same event. Some of these are old events. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T257714]
* Some users have trouble logging in. This is probably a [[:w:en:HTTP cookie|browser cookie]] problem. The developers are working on understanding the problem. If you have trouble logging in you can see the details [[phab:T258121|on Phabricator]]. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T258121]

It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 22 July. It will be on all wikis from 23 July ([[mw:MediaWiki 1.36/Roadmap|calendar]]).

'''Future changes'''

* The [[m:Small wiki toolkits/Starter kit|Starter kit]] is now available for wiki communities. This page lists technical resources, tools, and recommendations. These are essential to operate a wiki project. This is mostly useful for smaller wikis where the community has limited experience with this. [https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/2020-July/093633.html]
* The first features of the [[mw:Reading/Web/Desktop Improvements|Desktop Improvements]] project are available for logged-in users on all wikis. '''Problems'''
* All queries to the [[mw:Wikidata Query Service|Wikidata Query Service]] failed between 17:50 and 17:59 UTC on Thursday 23 July. Some queries failed during a longer period. [https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Incident_documentation/20200723-wdqs-outage]
* Interlanguage links were ordered incorrectly for the past few weeks. This problem was also mentioned in [[m:Special:MyLanguage/Tech/News/2020/30|Tech News two weeks ago]]. The problem is now fixed. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T257625]

* A bug in the Wikibase extension had disabled the "move" and "create" types of protection in the main (Gallery) namespace on Wikimedia Commons. New protections could not be added, and existing protections were not enforced, allowing some page moves and page creations that should not have been possible. This has now been fixed. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T258323]

'''Changes later this week'''
* The [[mw:Special:MyLanguage/Extension:TimedMediaHandler/VideoJS Player|video player]] will change to be simpler and more modern. This week, the current beta feature will become the video player for everyone on most non-Wikipedia wikis. The old player will be removed. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T248418]
* Users' <code>global.js</code> and <code>global.css</code> pages will now also be loaded on the mobile site. You can read [[mw:Help:Extension:GlobalCssJs#Per-skin_customization|documentation]] for how to avoid applying styles to the mobile skin. [https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T138727]
* [[File:Octicons-tools.svg|15px|link=|Advanced item]] In the [[mw:Special:MyLanguage/Skin:MonoBook|MonoBook]] skin, the <code>searchGoButton</code> identifier is now <code>searchButton</code>. This may affect CSS and JS gadgets. Migration instructions can be found in [[phab:T255953|T255953]]. This was previously mentioned in [[m:Special:MyLanguage/Tech/News/2020/27|issue 27]].

== Regex doc ==

[[File:387-clapping-hands-1.svg|36px|left|link=]] Much thanks for all the regex doc you contributed, mostly in 2015 I think, that I'm finding at places like [[Help:Searching/Regex]], [[Template:Template usage/doc]], and pretty much all over. This is *highly* appreciated. If you ever questioned whether it was worth all the effort and if anybody was benefiting from all that work you did, rest assured that the answer is a resounding *yes* to both. I consider myself an intermediate to advanced regex user outside of WP (familiar with stuff like negative lookahead, etc.) and that's a great foundation for using it here, but the picture at WP is sufficiently different that the doc is really required; and of course, the templates are a whole, 'nother layer on top of that. This is really very helpful (and I have a feeling I'm only discovering the tip of the iceberg), and even though it was a long time ago, it continues to be really useful (and I'm probably just the tip of the iceberg of users that it is benefiting). So, a big 'Thanks' for all your effort on regular expression documentation at Wikipedia! [[User:Mathglot|Mathglot]] ([[User talk:Mathglot|talk]]) 20:17, 4 September 2022 (UTC)

Wiknic picnic

[edit]

Hi, thanks for signing up at Wikipedia:Meetup/Seattle/Wiknic/2015. The picnic is a potluck, so on the signup page please say what food or drink you are planning to bring. Thanks! --Pine 04:07, 1 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Weather update for Wiknic

[edit]

Hi, weather update for Wiknic: the forecast is now for 91 degrees and a high UV index. Peaceray is bringing icewater, but everyone do please take appropriate precautions for the weather, such as sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and staying hydrated. There will be some shade in the trees. It's ok for those of us who are more temperature and/or sunlight sensitive to come but leave early, or skip the event if you think that you should; people who are very young, elderly, or have other health issues are more vulnerable to heat stroke. Health and safety first. Cheers, --Pine 15:05, 2 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Help:Template

[edit]

Please stop changing Help:Template. It is very difficult to make much sense of what you have been writing. --Redrose64 (talk) 20:00, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Redrose, I'm sorry. Maybe it should have been a proposal on the talk page. I am already in the process of rewriting it based on your earlier feedback in the edit summary. Thank you for all your patience. — CpiralCpiral 22:10, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deprecated double image

[edit]

I note the change to using a multiple image versus the "deprecated" double image at Jefferson Davis. Is there a technical reason why the double image is deprecated? If so, I'll stop using it. Thanks. TheVirginiaHistorian (talk) 08:03, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No. You can keep using it. Here's the deal. Double image just calls multiple image. Double image has been deleted a while back, and all that's left in its place is its emulator: {{multiple image}}. Take a look at {{multiple image}} documentation and decide for yourself how you proceed. Don't resort to using other obsolete workarounds because of the old double image, but otherwise it should be technically fine to keep using. I changed one use of Double image out because it was using the obsolete <center>...</center> tags, probably because it had to when it was written. — CpiralCpiral 08:44, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I very much enjoy finding double images, rarely triple images, to convey nuance in historical articles and article sections. TheVirginiaHistorian (talk) 12:35, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Supposedly centering is the default.
Intentional but subtle nuance is an author's just desert, so don't worry about performance. Besides, Lua modules like MI, unlike some older templates like DI, have no significant impact on performance. On the talk page you can mention the CPU time (below the edit box, expand the little triangle). E.g. U.S. will take 4.7 s every time. U.S. Constitution 2.3 s.— CpiralCpiral 17:15, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Subpages

[edit]

Are we allowed to make subpages on Wikipedia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Farnell45 (talkcontribs) 16:45, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You can, but unlike making an edit, the creation cannot easily be undone. Once you create the pages named "User:Farnell45" "User:Farnell45/sandbox" and then "User:Farnell45/sandbox/A", you'd have to ask an administrator to remove "/A" if you wanted to clean it out.
Be bold. Go ahead, click on User:Farnell45, put the wikitext {{welcome}}[[/sandbox]] there, and save the page. You will have transcluded the page named "Template:Welcome"; more to the point, you will have almost created a subpage on your user page. — CpiralCpiral 20:19, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Are we allowed to keep them or will they be deleted? Farrnell45Farnell45 20:24, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Widely tolerant, you can keep all you need for any fathomable excuse related to contributions. Occasionally user pages are patrolled. To delete your subpage, an administrator has to do it manually. They volunteer to do this, and they pass rigorous admissions. Put a delete because {{db}} template on an unwanted subpage, and just wait. — CpiralCpiral 21:39, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Farnell45 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Farnell45 (talkcontribs) 17:37, 16 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There are no rules. In practice, we each rule when we revert an edit. Or we call out on the talk page for reasoning about local content. Both are social skills. That being said, I will advise you on the content of your user page, but on your talk page. — CpiralCpiral 18:14, 16 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, what is the purpose of this page that Wikipedia:Example of a double redirect fails to fulfill? -- A Certain White Cat chi? 19:37, 18 October 2016 (UTC)

About Help:What links here/double rdcheck and Help talk:What links here: these are meant to help teach, by working example/tutorial, What Links Here reports. It is incomplete because no exception was made for allowing a double redirect to even exist as an example/tutorial.
(It's the same concept as the working example/tutorial links at Help:Link#Subpage_links, where that section links to subpage one/two/three/four.)
Thanks for inquiring. Soon, I'll check wp:wlh (and subpages, and talk pages) for further discussion. — Cpiral§Cpiral 18:42, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As you wish, my preference would be to have as little double redirects as possible (preferably none) since it taxes on bot time. It is a very small tax (1-2 seconds per entry) but they pile up with added entries, particularly on multiple wikis. I run my bot to prevent double redirects to be an issue on practically every WMF wiki so double redirects should not be a realistic issue anywhere aside from cases bot cannot fix (circular redirects & page protections). -- A Certain White Cat chi? 22:36, 19 October 2016 (UTC)

Hi Cpiral, I see you wrote the help pages on Searching/Features. I will ask here, but if this is not the right place, please let me know where to ask instead. Is there any syntax that can be used in connection with incategory:[name of category] search so that instead of the whole [name of category], ANY category that contains in its name TERM_A AND TERM_B AND TERM_C can be called? I am not good in terminology, and know only basic RegEx for text editing, so here is one example: suppose I want to find all comedies of director Scorsese. Now, there is a very clear category for all Scorsese films, BUT Category:Comedy films, or even Category:American comedy films, have been broken down to so many subcategories as to make any attempt of incategory search futile. However all the subcategories we need to search, do conatin the term "comedy", or to filter narrower, both "American" AND "comedy". It would be great if one could enter: incategor:Films directed by Scorsese with incategory: "American" AND "comedy" (or some regex syntax to this effect). It would save the day for many problems of categorization we face in WP Films (and not only) and maybe for the public too. Thank you for your attention. Hoverfish Talk 23:27, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

H:S talk page. That's where the action should be. Also mw:help talk:cirrussearch.
To answer your Q, the search term you need is a namespace. Category is a wp:namespace.
I'm glad you're interested. — Cpiral§Cpiral 19:03, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on COMINT (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
  • disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. feminist (talk) 05:11, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Tumbleweed (software)

[edit]

Hello Cpiral. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Tumbleweed (software), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not a valid criterion — redirects as a result of page moves aren't valid unless recently created and implausible. Try WP:RFD for deletion. Thank you. ~ Amory (utc) 10:22, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

See below...

Can AWB edit the list of titles on a search results page?

[edit]

I hear hopeful things, but after looking through the manual, I don't see the functionality I'm looking for.

I want to edit every page on a MediaWiki search results page. Can AWB do that? If not, can it accept a list of titles I generate from such a search results page? And if so, will it auto-edit every page (after I press yes on a Show Changes screen)?

Sounds like AWB can only perform its own searches from a required database dump.

I'm not complaining, really, keep up the fine work. Thanks. — CpiralCpiral 06:34, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You can copy and paste lists in to AWB's page list, you can also load a file the contains the list of articles. AWB can create a list from a database dump or by directly querying Wikipedia.- X201 (talk) 07:57, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds hopeful. — CpiralCpiral 18:15, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Are you actually searching for pages on the MediaWiki.org web site, or are you searching for pages on wikipedia.org? If you gave us the URL of a sample search, we could do a better job of helping you. Chris the speller yack 02:26, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
insource:"ul a" prefix:user:cCpiralCpiral 18:15, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Cpiral: I give up. Have you tried using a forward slash (/) to surround the insource argument instead of double quotes? I didn't know that double quotes would work for that. Good luck! Chris the speller yack 02:48, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm up to speed on using mw:Help:CirrusSearch, but I'm just starting to understand what AWB is. Like toolserver stuff, it shells the database directly? I don't know what internal APIs MediaWiki provides AWB or toolserver, if any, so I can't deYtermine AWB's abilities. It would seem that AWB javaScript, would wrap the usual MediaWiki user interfaces passing edits to the edit box and searches to the search engine. — CpiralCpiral 05:19, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you're ahead of me on using CirrusSearch. I had forgotten that "insource" comes in two flavors. Good luck! Chris the speller yack 13:24, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Cpiral: You may also want to look at WPCleaner. Happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 13:07, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. — CpiralCpiral 18:15, 27 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

SearchSuite can help. It can show search results as page names only, one per line. It also can sort the result. And applicable to using AWB on the results, it can add wikiformatting for links, which makes the whole list ready to copy/paste into a wiki-editor.

So, to do what you wanted above, you'd install the SearchSuite script, do your search, click the menu items to the format desired, and copy/paste the results to a sandbox. Then use the "Links on page" feature of AWB's list maker to input the list from the sandbox into AWB.

I hope that helps.    — The Transhumanist   21:21, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You are most helpful. I'm now using
$( function() {
	'use strict';
	if ( mw.config.get( 'wgCanonicalSpecialPageName' ) === 'Search' ) {
		$( '.mw-search-result-heading a' ).each( function() {
			$( this ).after( '<span class="searchedit"> [<a href="' + $( this ).attr( 'href' ) + '?action=edit">edit</a>]</span>' );
		} );
	}

} );
to provide each search result with an edit link. — Cpiral§Cpiral 00:03, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Regex doc

[edit]

Much thanks for all the regex doc you contributed, mostly in 2015 I think, that I'm finding at places like Help:Searching/Regex, Template:Template usage/doc, and pretty much all over. Mathglot (talk) 20:17, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
