In 2017, Wallbox came first in South Summit, a European startup competition. Wallbox then came in third place at the Startup World Cup in May 2018. In October 2019, Wallbox created Quasar, the world's first bidirectional charger for the residential segment.[6][7][8][9][10] Quasar was named the Best of Consumer Electronics Show in January 2020.[11][12]
