Joanna Sternberg (born August 18, 1991)[1] is an American singer, songwriter, visual artist and multi-instrumentalist based in New York City.[2]

Career

Sternberg released their debut full-length album, Then I Try Some More, on Team Love Records, later picked up on Fat Possum Records.[3][4]

Sternberg went on their first tour opening for Conor Oberst in North America in July 2018.[5]

Sternberg's second album, I've Got Me, was released in 2023, on Fat Possum Records; it was produced by Matt Sweeney.[6]

Personal life

Sternberg identifies as gender neutral and uses singular they/them pronouns.[7][8] They are based in Midtown Manhattan.[9][10]

Sternberg is Jewish.[11] They are autistic and have ADHD.[12]
