Okabana Station opened on 20 August 1960 as a new stop on the existing [[Dosan Line]]. At this time the station was operated by [[Japanese National Railways]] (JNR). Okabana Station (岡花駅, Okabana-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the village of Hidaka, Takaoka District, Kōchi Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by JR Shikoku and has the station number "K10".[1][2]

Okabana Station opened on 20 August 1960 as a new stop on the existing Dosan Line. At this time the station was operated by Japanese National Railways (JNR). With the privatization of JNR on 1 April 1987, control of the station passed to JR Shikoku.[3][6]
