-Seems like a pretty big deal that the census suspended all field operations due to the covid19 pandemic. [https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/18/us/virus-census-homeless.html] it may also be worth mentioning that the census is no longer using those handheld computers, but many employees are issued refurbished iphone8 [https://9to5mac.com/2019/10/30/apple-ios-devices-census-bureau/] devices. Despite what this somewhat old source implies, these are not used for the count itself, they are more for administrative purposes.
