From what I've read the genus Phoneutria is the only genus within the family Ctenidae that has potent enough bite and venom to be a real danger to humans, is it known if any of the other genera of that family really do have as potent of venom? |

[edit]The article Brazilian wandering spider describes the entire genus Phoneutria in much greater detail than this article. I propose merging (better yet, deleting and redirecting) this with that article. --EngineerScotty 22:24, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
