Monday Night Hockey is the branding used for Canadian broadcasts of National Hockey League (NHL) games on Monday nights. It was originally used for Sportsnet-produced telecasts under the Rogers Monday Night Hockey branding during the 2022–23 and 2023–24 NHL seasons. Monday Night Hockey replaced Hometown Hockey, which had aired from the 2014–15 to the 2021–22 seasons. Beginning in the 2024–25 season, under a two-year sub-licensing agreement, Prime Video will stream NHL games on Monday nights under the new Prime Monday Night Hockey branding.

On June 28, 2022, Sportsnet announced that it would be canceling Hometown Hockey after 8 years on the air, and that it would be replaced with a new brand for its Monday night broadcasts of the NHL.[1] On October 17, one day before its first broadcast, it was announced that the new package would be called Rogers Monday Night Hockey, and debut with the Toronto Maple Leafs going against the Arizona Coyotes.[2][3]

On April 25, 2024, the NHL and Rogers Communications announced that Amazon had signed a two-year deal to produce and exclusively stream NHL game telecasts on Monday nights in Canada on Amazon Prime Video under the Prime Monday Night Hockey brand.[4] The agreement follows the addition of Sportsnet's OTT streaming service, Sportsnet+, as a Prime Video Channel in October 2023.[5]

On June 13, 2024, Prime Video announced it would air a weekly whip-around studio show, NHL Coast To Coast, on Thursday nights.[6]

On September 23, Prime Video revealed the broadcast and studio team for Monday Night Hockey. The studio team will be led by hosts Adnan Virk and Andi Petrillo, analyst Blake Bolden, and contributor Mark Messier.
