On Saturday 29th of May 2021 Jarod made his [[PFL]] debut mid way during the season as a late inclusion, Jarod is also described as a player who can play as a [[Defender]] or other positions on the ground.

==PFL career==
On Saturday 12 September 2020, Jarod decided that the last round of the 2020 WAFL Season would be his final [[WAFL]] match officiating in, Held at [[Leederville Oval]]. And later on confirming his retirement from all formats of the game.
Jarod Decided to join [[Kenwick]] [[Football Club]] in 2021 in the [[Perth Football League]] known as the (PFL) Competition. Where he was talked early about going into the League side, but didn’t get his chance until mid season where he was called up as a late inclusion after playing in the reserves that afternoon. Although Jarod got limited playing time in his debut he didn’t record a possession but following two games missing out on selection, Jarod was called up once again and held his spot for a further 6 games before the end of the 2021 ([[PFL]]) Season.


In 2022 Jarod Played through the season only missing three League games and he even picked up two [[Ashworth]] [[medal]] votes vs Saints.
==WAFL career==
During the 2017 Season the [[WAFL]] coaches and selectors were eyeing off to potentially selecting Jarod to come across for the 2018 [[WAFL]] Season, And to be part of the squad, Where he would end up to officiating in upto three Seasons, In his first two seasons he held his spot for selection and only appeared briefly in the [[WAFLW]], With only 3 league games two of these occasions he wore the number 15.


In November 2022 Jarod had decided to part ways with [[Kenwick]] and to join the [[Carlisle]] [[Cougars]] for the upcoming 2023 ([[PFL]]) Season. Where his dad [[Greg]] was president from 1999 to 2001. And was part of upgrading the clubs new facilities which still stands today.
In 2020 of the [[WAFL]] seasons [[COVID 19]] effected the competition which resulted to be shortened to only 9 Rounds of that season. While in lockdown Jarod trained hard to the point he lost upto 11kg a month before the season had got back up and running out of lockdown Jarod had suffered a three month tendon injury he was in rehab and underwent needles to help with the pain for a couple of months, which had seemed to have helped but the set back in his left leg and then followed by a Hamstring injury which would resulted him being ruled out for upto seven [[WAFL]] matches, Before Jarod was able to return to officiate in the final two Games of that [[WAFL]] season, Jarod ended up officiating in 37 Games before retiring from [[WAFL]] and from all formats of the game.
Two months from [[WAFL]] retirement Jarod was offered an extra contract for 2021 possibly to rejoin the [[WAFL]] Squad by a phone call, In hopes to bring him out of retirement, Jarod had quickly declined the offer and Jarod saying “I’m done with it all! It’s time for me to move on.”

Jarod started playing junior football in 2005 in the Perth districts area right through to under 13’s, before his junior career was ended due to no team. As a kid he was a known as chubby and overweight and needed to loose weight and with some guidance he was able to get fit and loose weight leading up to his senior career.

Jarod made his deput playing for the [[Hawks]] in the 2011/12 Season Jarod were he would spend three years before he would join the [[Dragons]] where he would spend his majority of his career at.

2020/21 – seasons Jarod parted ways with the [[Dragons]] joining [[Western Suburbs]] in the ([[WAS]][[TCA]]) competition playing 9 First grade games and playing 3 [[T20]] Matches.

2021/22 – Jarod decided to Rejoin with the [[Dragons]] playing we he would collect 25 Wickets for the season and winning the [[WACA]] [[premiership]]. And collecting the Coaches Award for that season.


2022/23 – Jarod played half a season with the [[Dragons]] Playing a total of eight games, before taking a break from the game but had unconfirmed his full retirement.
