Directors for the Whitehouse ISD Band Program are Tom Mensch, Daniel Southerland, Scott Smith, Nick Hardy, Chris Huffty, John Gaertner, and Christina Clifton Thomas. The band is the biggest band in East Texas with over 350 members in the high school band! For 47 years the Former head director, Denny Whitley, has been teaching and 27 at Whitehouse High. The band ALUMNI have moved on to some wonderful things. Drum major for the Texas A&M Fightin' Marching Band.
