-"Undergraduate education is an education level taken prior to gaining a first degree (except for an associate's degree),"  would indicate an associate'd degree doesn't involve undergraduate education.  At the [[Associate's degree|link]], though it says:
-"An associate's degree is an undergraduate academic degree"  If you keep that exclusion in brackets you should explain how it's excluded right there in the next phrase.  I don't want to mess things up, but this needs fixing by an expert.
-The text about only community colleges in the US awarding associate's degrees is way outdated, if it ever applied.  Quite a few four year colleges offer associate's degrees.  Particularly online universities offer this as a degree to people who wish to take a break and continue working towards a bachelor's or higher later on.
