The new club house is under construction which is expected to complete by mid 2010. A pleasant and [[salubrious]] Coimbatore weather gives the opportunity to play golf all round the year. There is more to the weather, as the golf course is situated between the Palghat gap of the western ghats it has a nice and pleasant breeze through out the year which also makes the weather very comfortable to play. It also demands accuracy due to the wind factor.

The Club has adopted innovative techniques in [[waste recycling]] water and using [[recycled water]] to help contribute to the Environment. The comparison of the surrounding areas gives an idea to the levels to which the trees and the greenery help the eco structure of the area.

Initially, the club laid out a 9-hole course in Jail grounds in the city. Later in 1985 the Club laid out a new course designed by one of the founders G.K.
