:::Point Reyes is uninhabited, so it's pronunciation is dependent on the variety of dialects and conventions across the region. As a Bay Area native, who lived nearby in Novato for many years, I have always and will always pronounce it as Rey-es (following the Spanish convention). There are plenty that do so as well. I reverted an edit made by 148.87.1.172 which I suspected might be vandalism as the account is regularly used for this purpose. However, as I'm not familiar with the subject, it occurrs to me that I might have reverted a legitimate edit.
