GA Review

[edit]
This review is transcluded from Talk:Ball Park (UTA station)/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

Comments:

  1. The lead of the article is very short. Can more information be added to provide an adequate summary of the article?
  1. "Before the Sandy/Salt Lake Line was being designed and constructed in 1997" sounds awkward.
  1. "then governor" should be hyphenated.
  1. "Salt Lake and Utah County" should be "Salt Lake and Utah counties"
  1. "The station is located along along the Sandy/Salt Lake line, which was the original line opened by UTA, provides access to downtown Salt Lake City and FrontRunner to the north (travel time 20 minutes to Salt Lake Central Station)" sounds awkward.
  1. The first couple sentences of the Service sections sound wordy and need to be broken up. I would also suggest not putting the travel time information in parentheses.
  1. "end-of-lines" sounds awkward, "ends" would suffice here.
  1. In sentence "A 170-space park and ride lot is located between the tracks, and the Indian Walk-In Center, providing free parking for riders of TRAX and the local bus routes servicing the station.", remove comma after "tracks".
  1. "side walk" should be one word.
  1. Is it nessecary to indicate local businesses adjacent to the station? Unless they are notable (which would be nothing in that section except for the ballpark), then the In the area section should be removed. Any notable attractions can be listed in the last paragraph of the services section.
  1. The commonscat template should be in a new External links section and not in the References section.
  1. Is it nessecary to have the templat at the bottom of the article as this article is not included on it?

I am placing the article on hold. Dough4872 (talk) 22:33, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I will pass the article. Dough4872 (talk) 16:10, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
