Many countries outside the US, including Japan where Astro Boy originated, use a different metric value for Horsepower. It wouldn't make a huge difference, Astro's 100,000 hp by that standard would only equal 74 MW instead of 75 MW for instance. I'm not going to change the article to reflect the different standard, since it might be too trivial and confusing to bother, and some may argue that Astro Boy as the American version of Tetsuwan Atom runs on the American system of horsepower. For that reason, I'm simply making a note of it here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.49.111.0 (talk) 05:09, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Horsepower

[edit]

Many countries outside the US, including Japan where Astro Boy originated, use a different metric value for Horsepower. It wouldn't make a huge difference, Astro's 100,000 hp by that standard would only equal 74 MW instead of 75 MW for instance. I'm not going to change the article to reflect the different standard, since it might be too trivial and confusing to bother, and some may argue that Astro Boy as the American version of Tetsuwan Atom runs on the American system of horsepower. For that reason, I'm simply making a note of it here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.49.111.0 (talk) 05:09, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notability and redirect to list

[edit]

Please provide reliable sources that establish notability. Currently the content is wholly unsourced (wikipedia does not count as a reliable source). Restoring the redirect following proposed deletion in January 2020 is the appropriate course of action. Polyamorph (talk) 09:18, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
