The '''2013–14 Pakistan Premier League''' was the fifty-ninth season of Pakistan domestic football and the 10th season of the [[Pakistan Premier League]]. Esteghlal were the defending champions. The season featured 14 teams from the 2012–13 Iran Pro League and two new teams promoted from the 2012–13 Azadegan League: Gostaresh as Group A Champions and Esteghlal Khuzestan as Group B Runner-up who replace relegated Gahar Zagros, Aluminium Hormozgan, Sanat Naft and Paykan. Esteghlal Khuzestan promoted instead of Group B Champions, Shahrdari Tabriz, due to match-fixing scandal. The league began on 1 September 2013 and ended on 8 February 2014. [[KRL F.C.]] ended up winning the championship for the third consecutive season and fourth title overall. [[ZTBL F.C.|Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited F.C.]], playing their first season after promotion, withdrew from the league after playing 17 games<ref>[http://www.footballpakistan.com/2013/12/baloch-fc-get-walkover-the-news/ Baloch FC get walkover - The News]</ref><ref>[http://www.footballpakistan.com/2013/12/ztbl-asked-not-to-play-remaining-ppfl-matches-the-news/ ZTBL asked not to play remaining PPFL matches]</ref>

The 2013–14 Pakistan Premier League was the 10th season of the Pakistan Premier League and the 59th season of Pakistan domestic football. The league began on 1 September 2013 and ended on 8 February 2014. Khan Research Laboratories ended up winning the championship for the third consecutive season and their fourth title overall.

Zarai Taraqiati, playing their first season after promotion, withdrew from the league after playing 17 games. This happened after ZTBL’s top authorities learned that the team would be relegated to the second-tier league. They stopped the team from playing any more matches. Thus they forfeited 13 matches which was against the rules.[3]

Teams

[edit]
