In 2007 it had 200 plus students and 25 teachers.
In 2007 it had 200 plus students and 25 teachers. Most if not all of the students are enrolled members of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Reservation. Most of the racial makeup for the students are Native American mostly Sioux, Assinibione, Chippewa, or Cree.{{citation needed}}

Poplar has had some of the most successful boys sports programs in Montana.{{citation needed}} The most successful program that Poplar offers is Cross Country. The boys team is the most successful in the past decade{{when?}} coming back with some form of a state title.
