Tommie Trelawney investigated and produced an eight-part podcast (under the name 'Archive) in 2022 on the Southern Television broadcast interruption and found the transmission to have been carried out by Bob Tomalski, a journalist, "gadget guru" and broadcaster.

:Yeah, there’s no chain of custody so we don’t know if it’s the real thing or not. The audio quality is pretty good so it sounds like it came straight out of the TV studio console if it’s real. What gets me is how dumb the message is. This is straight out of a 1950s B movie script, even for the 1970s. [[User:Viriditas|Viriditas]] ([[User talk:Viriditas|talk]]) 00:23, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
:: The podcast has been mentioned before in a now archived section. It falls under wikipedia's definition of a questionable source and thus should not be used as the sole source for such a claim. Regardless of whether or not it's a recreation (and I personally believe it is), its origin point is just some random youtube video from some random youtube channel, almost the dictionary definition of an unreliable source. Re-creation?

[edit]

I thought that recording was just a recreation. 2800:200:ED40:1154:89D0:BC8:2C80:3611 (talk) 19:00, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not revert my removal of the audio again.
