La banda es invitada a la convención Anual de A&R de la Sony Internacional en marzo de [[1999]] donde hicieron una presentación al lado de [[La Oreja de Van Gogh]] ([[España]]) y [[La Dosis]] ([[México]]) en un festival que también contaba con la presencia de [[The Creed]] y [[Ricardo Arjona]].

Con el single "Rodando" sonando en españa, con los videos de "Mala Sangre", "Semilla Negra" y "No es Amor" en cadenas de TV en todo el [[Perú]], se presentan en el Festival de rock en el Volcan en [[Pululahua]], [[Quito]], [[Ecuador]] compartiendo escenario con [[Víctimas del Doctor Cerebro]], [[Lucybell]], [[La Ley]], [[Pedro Aznar]], [[Virus]], [[Aterciopelados]], entre muchos otros. Cerrarían la gira con un show en [[Nueva York]] (en Cuerda Planetaria - hoy Oveja Negra) y presentaciones en Lima al lado de La Ley, El Tri, Prisioneros.

La intensidad de las giras, y la agenda recargada desgastaron internamente a la banda y en el [[2000]] la banda entra en receso.

"Pelo" Madueño, se dedicó a la producción musical de bandas como [[Madre Matilda]] y [[Camaron Jackson]], a la par que forja una carrera solista en [[Madrid]], Arturo Rios fue baterista de la banda [[Los Fuckin Sombreros]], hasta que ésta se desintegró en Febrero del [[2007]]. Por su parte el "Chino" Chau forja una carrera de productor musical (http://www.myspace.com/chinochaumusic) (http://www.chinochau.com) y DJ y "Nacho" Cisneros canta en su banda llamada: [[Aji]].

"Pelo Madueño" ha anunciado en su página de myspace (http://www.myspace.com/pelomusic) el regreso de La Liga del Sueño. La primera presentación de esta nueva étapa fue el [[21 de Abril]] de [[2007]] como parte del Festival Rok An Pop 2007.

La Liga Del Sueño is a Peruvian pop punk band formed in 1991[1] which had two minor hits "La Peor de las Guerras" and "Mala Sangre".

The band was formed in Lima by several members of the very well known (locally) clown troupé called "Pataclaun" including Jorge "Pelo" Madueño, Gonzalo Torres and Johanna San Miguel.
