Mete Erpek was born on the 6th of September 1987 in Eskişehir. In 2002 he got some breakdance videos and tapes from Bulgaria and acquaintanced with hip hop culture. He was occupied in making graffitis for 2 years. In 2004 he established his own studio and he started amateurishly rapping with the name "Narkoz a.k.a Stanley". In 2005 he published his first amateur rap album "Rap Cellat-ı mafya". Also he managed to be in top 10 in a demo rap competition with his song "Mutluluk Tohumları". With this success he managed to join to a hip hop group called "Darp" in Istanbul. After 1 year of work, he left Darp. After continuing his university study in Burdur, he returned to Eskişehir. He joined to the hip hop group called Batarya, which was established by Allâme and Leşker Asakir. He participated in Albums of Allâme and Batarya Records. He was paid attention especially with his song with Allâme "Dünya Inanmıyor" in Pasaj Müzik labeled collective album Organize Oluyoruz 2. In December 2012, Joker send a declaration about leaving Batarya Records on Facebook. In his 2013 made album Rhymestain, he worked with many famous turkish rap artists, like Ceza and Sansar Salvo. In 2014 he established his own music company, called Hiphopjobz. On the 20th of November 2015, he made his first bandroled album Microphone Show with Dokuz Sekiz Müzik label. On the 25th of December 2016, he participated in Voice of Turkey competition and he was able to come till quarter final. On the 10th of August 2018, he published his second bandroled album Element, labeled as Sony Music. He finds the association of Rap music with drugs absolutely wrong. |
