The see also section is unclear and seems like an arbitrary list of random people. It is not clear to me as a reader why any of these five people are listed or what their connection to di Bonaventura might actually be. This needs to be clarified or the whole section removed. -- 109.77.195.4 (talk) 14:26, 21 September 2024 (UTC) |

The lead section includes the claim that the films he has made have grossed over $7 billion. It is not clear where in the reference that claim is stated. (it does say he has been prolific and successful and has produced films "all sizes and scopes, across a wide range of genres" which might be a better summary). According to The Numbers his career gross is $8,972,134,491 closer to $9 billion. In any case the lead section is not supposed to be a press release and is meant to summarize what is actually in the article body, and it seems crass and reductive to put this in the lead section at all. -- 109.78.196.173 (talk) 14:08, 12 December 2024 (UTC) |

Career gross
[edit]The lead section includes the claim that the films he has made have grossed over $7 billion. It is not clear where in the reference that claim is stated.[1] (it does say he has been prolific and successful and has produced films "all sizes and scopes, across a wide range of genres"
which might be a better summary). According to The Numbers his career gross is $8,972,134,491 closer to $9 billion. In any case the lead section is not supposed to be a press release and is meant to summarize what is actually in the article body, and it seems crass and reductive to put this in the lead section at all. -- 109.78.196.173 (talk) 14:08, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
- My tag on the above problem has been removed as well as my efforts to remove the obviously outdated Nicolas Flammel information from this biography.
