== Sort by dollar amount == |

It'd be great if someone could sort the table by default by descending amount raised.Terrorist96 (talk) 01:48, 21 December 2018 (UTC) |

:By date would make more sense to me. It was in roughly that order until just a little while ago. SchreiberBike | ⌨ 03:09, 21 December 2018 (UTC) |

::I've restored it to date order, but put them with most recent on top. Other sort orders are legitimate, and we can discuss what people think is best, but it was out of order until I made the recent changes. I suspect that people would like to see the most recent item near the top and this meets that need. SchreiberBike | ⌨ 05:01, 21 December 2018 (UTC) |

== GoFundMe isn't a reliable source == |

Seems that the "notable projects" table can no longer be updated with proper links to GoFundMe, since the domain (gofundme.com) is now blacklisted in Wikipedia (in general)? |

::That's because GoFundMe isn't a reliable source. Just look for citations to reliable secondary sources that establish that the campaign in question is notable. --Guy Macon (talk) 07:47, 12 June 2021 (UTC) |

== Israel Falou case == |

Hadn’t heard of this website before the $700k Israe Falou donation page was taken offline. Should be included particularly given the media coverage and thus citations to reputable journals available, as well as comparing it to “notable” cases listing including a $50k fundraiser in comparison... Also notable because CEO has been defending this take down, as well as accusations that Go Fund Me are siphoning off funds for their own personal costs, observing that Israel Falou only received $700k vs nearly $1.5m when hosted by another website in quite a shorter period of time... This has been attributed by Go Fund Me to credit card processing and admin costs but there has been reputable discussion of class action against Go Fund Me fees 180.219.160.62 (talk) 16:35, 26 June 2019 (UTC) |

Some of the edits in the edit history are FACTUAL. GoFundMe is HEAVILY biased. And it should be reflected on their wiki. Like that time they denied that kid, WHO WAS LATER FOUND INNICENT, the ability to raise a legal defense fund. Or the time they shut down the trucker movement, citing claims of violence when there is plenty of evidence of exactly the opposite. Like, I'm not saying we need to trash the company, or spread misinformation about them. Just find an uncontroversial way to reflect the TRUTH that they are heavily biased. If I was deciding whether or not to use go fund me and came onto their wikipedia page to look up information about them, it would be relevant information to me. The fact that we can't speak truth about a company on Wikipedia, casts doubt on all wikipedia information.
