Sanjay Raul is a strokeful middle order batsman who started his international debut as part of India 'A' tour of [[Pakistan cricket team|Pakistan]] in early [[1998]]. He made an unbeaten 115 in the third Test at Lahore. He was selected into the [[Indian cricket team|Indian team]] for the Commonwealth games at [[Toronto]] in September 1998, but failed to perform well in the two matches that he played against Pakistan.
