The village is located approximately 22 kilometers from Nandalur, making it a central point for nearby villages such as Pothapi,^[2] Balajipally, Chintakayalapalli,^[3] and Tangatur. Kumpinipuram^[4] is known for its cultural and religious significance, with two prominent temples that serve as spiritual centers for the local community.

Sri Bhoga Anjaneya Swamy Temple: This temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, locally known as Anjaneya Swamy. Devotees visit the temple to seek blessings, and it is believed that the idol of Lord Hanuman here holds significant spiritual power, attracting pilgrims from surrounding regions.
