So broadly speaking, I personally don't have an objection to including a couple of examples of cult followings for groups and singers, (well sourced, obviously,) but I don't think this article should become a repository for everything that could be construed as having a cult following. I think of something like the Rocky Horror Picture Show as having a cult following, because there are lots of enthusiastic people who dress up and attend midnight viewings, and reenact the film from their audience seats. Are we talking about the same sort of obsession and freakishness with X, Y or Z group or singer that is added? "Cult following" used to mean something...
