In June of the same year, he was included in the Italian squad for the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in Malta,[14] where the Azzurrini eventually won their second continental title.[15][16]
On 4 October 2024, he was included by head coach Luciano Spalletti in the Italian squad in matches against Belgium and Israel in the 2024–25 UEFA Nations League.
Style of play
[edit]Pisilli is a complete midfielder who can contribute offensively with goals and assists, and also in the defensive phase. A constant presence in Roma's youth sides, he is able to withstand blows on the pitch and has uncommon tactical intelligence that helps him break down plays. His speed of thought helps him with interceptions and recoveries.[4]
