Does anyone know what, if any associations there are between Black Label Society and the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club? Can't see their backs, but the band's dress in the article picture sure as hell looks like MC cuts to me (and I'm that kind of guy), and the stage hand in the background is sporting a Red & White's T-shirt. |
|||
Since my grand-Uncle was HA, I'd love to know if anyone can answer this, as anything having to do with the ol' 81 is family history to me. --72.23.28.31 (talk) 21:48, 2 November 2009 (UTC) Einhannder |

Sad to say, far from it. There have been numerous occasions in the UK where the larger MC clubs have confiscated the patches and destroyed them - as you know yourself, they are very similar to patches that normally have to be earned by Prospects in the clubs concerned. It came to a head in Manchester in 2005, where Satans Slaves MC took the matter into their own hands. Here's a link to the Black Label Society's website (they have now requested that the patches or any t-shirt, etc. bearing the insignia are not worn to gigs to be on the safe side): |

Some of BLS's albums were heavily hard-rock influenced, for e.g. their debut album Sonic Brew, and as such, I think the genre should be added to the infobox. Teh Thrasher (talk) 19:59, 9 September 2014 (UTC) |

:Hello. If you want to incorporate hard rock, the source must say the band plays hard rock, not that an album is hard rock. Hi. I only know of this bands existence from their members wearing patches whilst riding motorcycles and getting the snot slapped out of them by patched and affiliate members of actual motorcycle clubs. How is that not even mentioned in the article? I was wondering whether the band had changed their logo given how much ... re-education was being handed out to people wearing it. And I'm absolutely shocked that there's no reference to it. 121.211.56.55 (talk) 14:21, 11 August 2015 (UTC) |

I love the band, Zakk can really shred. However, we bought 4 tickets to a show about 3 hours away from us in Tyler Texas. The original date was in May, 2022, but was rescheduled for September 22. So, we booked a room and my wife, my son and myself hauled ass to Tyler. After a few drinks at the pool, we got ready and started to leave. I’m the hotel lobby, there were some other folks that were going to the show as well. They informed us that the show was canceled by BLS, on account that the venue wasn’t able to meet their needs, and the stage was not safe to perform on. I was so pissed, still am. This is also our 23rd anniversary, and we were all disappointed. If they’re really the bad asses they portray themselves to be, then they should have set up outside, or in the parking lot. I mean, WTF?? What ever happened to “the show must go on “ |
