He was born 13 august 1930 Tartu, Estonia and died 18 april 1991 Tallinn, Estonia.[1] His parents are Artur Jürisalu and Anfissa Jürisalu. His wife is Vilma Jürisalu his sister is Asta Kask. His children are s.s.t. Jürisalu and Mart Jürisalu. And was an Estonian composer.[2]
Life
[edit]In 1954, he graduated from Tallinn State Conservatory in composition speciality.[3]
1970–1988 he was the leader of music ensemble Consortium.[3]
1969–1991, he taught the composition at Tallinn State Conservatory (since 1985 Associate Professor).[3]
Since 1956, he was a member of Estonian Composers' Union.[3]
