Bernadeth Pons (born October 19, 1996) is a Filipina indoor and beach volleyball athlete. She is currently playing for the Creamline Cool Smashers at the Premier Volleyball League.[1]

She played for Petron Tri-Activ Spikers as an outside hitter.

Personal life

Pons is the eldest in three siblings. Originating from Talisay, Negros Occidental, she finished with a degree of BS Financial Management at Far Eastern University.[2]

Career

Pons played with Rafael B Lacson National High School,[3] Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association and the Far Eastern University.[4] She played with Petron Tri-Activ Spikers, winning the 2016 Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Second Best Outside Spiker award.[5]

In the 2017 season of the Philippine SuperLiga, Pons and Cherry Rondina of Petron Sprint 4T won the championship of the Beach Challenge Cup.[6] With the Petron Blaze Spikers, she won the Invitational Cup silver medal,[7] All-Filipino Conference gold medal[8] and the Grand Prix Conference silver medal.[9] She became a team captain of FEU Lady Tamaraws during the UAAP Season 80 and she led the team in first finals appearance since UAAP Season 71. They finished as a runner-up after they lost in DLSU Lady Spikers in best-of-three finals.[10]
