Commander 1st Armored Division

This article claims he commanded the 1stArmored Division in the 1960s. However his name does not show up in the list of the Division Commanders. I could not find a source that supports this statement. Maybe he was the acting commander and never made it into the list of commanders. A clarification of this case by experts may be helpful. Commander United States Southern Command

George Mabry was not the commanding General of United States Southern Command as stated in the article. I think he commanded the Army portion of this command. The Commanding General of the Command is either a Four-Star General of the Army, Air-Force, the Marine Corps or an Admiral of the US-Navy. WAG57 (talk) 10:21, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
