The fansite you used to source her father as African-American is a fansite, so it doesn't count as a reliable source of information. I don't understand why this is a big issue with you, by the way. No one is doubting that her father is black, it's just that he is Jamaican, not American, so he cannot be an "African-American". "why is this such a big issue with me" I'd be pissed if someone was putting the wrong infromation about me, on countless websites it states that she is half african-american. Only on about two websites have I seen Jamaican, and this isn't a "big" issue with me, its just that I don't want wrong infromation to be recorded, cause like I said, I'd be pissed if that was me. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
