He started his career as an assistant to director G.Ramakrishnan and then to [[Bharathiraja]]. He wrote the dialogue for ''0Kizhake Pogum rayil'' (1978). He made his directorial debut with the film ''Suvarillatha Chittirangal''. He then started his own concern and produced a series of popular films. He created his own style in movie making, he laced humor in his stories, this way of story telling became very popular with the masses. He has directed and acted in more than twenty five films. He has also directed a Hindi film. Currently he is directing various TV Serials. |
