England oweing mainly to their skilled archers, completely defeated the French, inflicting heavy losses. They Spaniards fled leavng Henry Trastamara's battle exposed to the attack from a mounted rearguard of the English Army. The Castilian-Franco Army disintegrated and the rout, pursued by the English, rolled back to the river bank of [[Najerilla]]. |
