Destructors 666 Destructors 666 were formed in Peterborough, UK in 2006. They are a collaboration of Peterborough 'musicians'. Allen Adams on Vocals(ex The Destructors, The Blanks), Steve Rolls on Rythmn Guitar (ex The Now, Destructors v2, Sudden Sway), Dave Colton on Lead Guitar (ex The Name, The Gobblinz, Destructor v5), Rob Baylis on Drums (ex Heads Apart), Ian Stapleton on Bass Guitar (ex Faith, Vaquero and Dirt. Destructors 666 are the latest incarnation of what started as The Destructors in 1977. Allen Adams has been present through all lineups of The Destructors. Steve Rolls and Dave Colton have performed as drummers with the original Destructors lineup.

Career
Destructors 666 do not operate to any industry style and structure. It is believed that they record and release whatever they want to regardless of commercial implications. All releases feature around new material, covers of their favourite old garage and punk tunes (e.g. The Seeds, Count Five, Iggy, New York Dolls, Flamin' Groovies, The Sonics, etc.) as well as covers of classic early songs by The Destructors.

Since forming in 2006 Destructors 666 have released several split EP's, an album, 2 limited edition EP's and a 'mini' album. All releases have been via their own Rowdy Farrago record label and are self financed. All EP's have followed the groups policy of releasing split EP's with other local bands and these are largely funded by Rowdy Farrago.

Releases to date have included split EP's with The Ruined, The 925's, Fletch Cadillac, White Clouds & Gunfire, Eastfield, Radicus and $UP. All collaborations do not place any contract obligations with the artists concerned in the hope that other bands achieve a worldwide recognition should they be spotted by major labels.

Destructors 666 released their first album in June 2007 entitled Many Were Killed Few Were Chosen.

Reviews
* 'A primitive but wonderful single from a criminally underrated D.I.Y. Punk band from Peterborough. This sounds like the Desperate Bicycles, and is a very simple, but effective protest song about a subject that should be dear to your hearts. And fuzztone fizzedelic guitar! You need more?'

* 'It sounds like the rough first cassette of two really good songs from a Peterborough punk band. Usual '77 cynicism, plus (skeleton) Sex Pistols style melodic strength. I like it. Try and hear it".

* 'Amateur to the point of severe embarrassment'

* 'Well-intentioned identipunk. For specialists only'
* 'Even though the sound is strictly garage production level, the songs too long, and the sleeve packaging mateurish in the most boring way, this is worth checking out. 'Why?' has an intro reminiscent of an old Velvet Underground tune (you decide which one), then bursts into one of the most anguished, bewildered cries at life's futility I've ever heard'
